Larry Kirchner of Hauntworld & the Eastern Haunters Convention Sign a Three-Year Agreement!
The Eastern Haunters Convention is proud to announce that we have signed a three-year agreement with Halloween industry leader Larry Kirchner. This partnership will allow for the rapid growth and expansion of the Eastern Haunters Convention as well as garner support from one of the founding leaders of vendors, haunt owners, and Halloween patrons.
This agreement will firmly place HauntWorld as the official and exclusive magazine of the Eastern Haunters Convention for the years 2008, 2009, and 2010, and will make Mr. Kirchner's Haunted House Association (HHA) the official Halloween and Haunted House Association of the Convention for the years 2008, 2009, 2010. HHA will be the exclusive Halloween and Haunted House Association of the Convention for the years 2009 and 2010.
Larry Kirchner is the President and CEO of HauntWorld Magazine, the current #1 subscription based magazine for the Halloween and Haunted Attraction Industry. HauntWorld Magazine has been the cornerstone of our industry, educating both haunt owners and consumers alike. Their website, www.HauntWorld.com contains the world famous haunt forum which is open to the general public, as well as a sophisticated Haunt Finder tool which allows you to instantly find local haunted houses and Halloween events in your area.
As a benefit to our agreement, Mr. Kirchner will feature the Eastern Haunters Convention in his national HauntWorld publication, and has also agreed to exclusively feature us over any other Haunted Conventions not including Transworld Show Exhibits, Inc. Any other convention, which is not a dedicated Haunt Convention, such as IAAPA, would be excluded from this as well. HauntWorld the magazine event listings would still allow for mention of the other conventions. HauntWorld magazine will feature annual multiple page write-up and documentary for the Eastern Haunters Convention that would follow the birth of this convention right into its fourth year.
In addition, Mr. Larry Kirchner is also the president of the Haunted House Association (HHA). This National Association was established to assist and advance the haunted house industry through communication, education, and information. Mr. Kirchner designed this model association based on the need to exchange ideas, information, experiences and concerns through message boards, newsletters and magazines. We encourage you to join and there website can be found at www.HauntedHouseAssociation.org. The HHA will be generously donating annual membership for the Eastern Haunters Convention for the years 2008, 2009, and 2010 and the Eastern Haunters Convention will be offering distinct promotions to Haunted House Association members.
As part of a mutual beneficial agreement between Mr. Larry Kirchner and Eastern Haunters Convention, the Eastern Haunters convention will create both links, banners, and a special section of their website for Mr. Larry Kirchner's HauntWorld and Haunted House Association to help drive traffic to his nationally recognized websites. Mr. Larry Kirchner will purchase 2 tables per year from the Eastern Haunters Convention, 1 for HauntWorld the Magazine, and the other for the Haunted House Association and Mr. Larry Kirchner will have key priority placement in those rooms for those tables.
Finally, the Eastern Haunters Convention will give Mr. Larry Kirchner and one other direct HauntWorld / HHA Staff gratis passes to the convention's events such as the Costume Ball. Furthermore, Mr. Larry Kirchner has also dedicated to give a unique seminar at the Eastern Haunters Convention during their opening year (2008) and will speak in future years (2009, 2010) if time and schedule permits.
